What types of clothing do you alter or repair?

We alter and repair most everyday clothing including dresses, skirts, trousers, jeans, shorts, shirts, tops, blouses, suits, jackets and bathing suits. We also handle the full wedding party — wedding gowns, veils, tails and more — as well as evening and formal wear, and uniforms for services, private schools and martial arts (alterations, tailoring, repairs, patches and trim).

What about non-clothing items or unusual fabrics?

We'll turn our hand to most things, but we don't make curtains or upholster, and we don't make or repair items made of rubber or items that have been crocheted or knitted. We do repair items made of fur, leather and some vinyl — give us a call to discuss your requirements.

Can you provide a quote?

Yes — a free, no-obligation quote can be provided over the telephone. Please note that without seeing the garment it is very difficult to quote a final price. Some jobs may end up more expensive than originally quoted if they prove more time-consuming or difficult than first explained.

We accept cash only, on collection.

As all our garments have to be fitted, we require that the customer collects their items.

Depending on the job, an estimated time will be given to you when the job commences.

Yes — we'll generally tell you when your garments will be ready for collection.

Do you provide a cleaning service?

No, we don't offer cleaning. We work alongside several local dry cleaners who do.
